Note: One of the Alumni-in-Residence is Ali DeGirolamo, Mayoral Aide at City of Waterbury
The Center for Career Readiness and Life Skills’ Alumni-in-Residence Program is officially underway for the semester! This spring, we have five Alumni-in-Residence who are available to connect with students to provide valuable career guidance. These alumni will host virtual office hours each month, offering one-on-one sessions to help students with a variety of career-related topics. How Alumni-in-Residence Can Help: - Career Path Exploration: Helping students explore industries and job roles based on the alum’s own career experiences.
- Resume Feedback: Offering advice on creating tailored, impactful resumes for specific industries and positions.
- Industry Trends: Providing insights into the latest trends and developments in various fields to better prepare students for the job market.
- Career Advancement: Sharing professional development opportunities and strategies for career progression after graduation.
- Company & Job Insights: Giving students a deeper understanding of their employer, workplace culture, and the realities of specific job roles.
This is a fantastic opportunity for students to network and get personalized advice from alumni who have been in their shoes. Please encourage your students to sign up for a session! Spots are limited and students need to register in advance. | |
