The Law Office of Nancy Sánchez (LONS) is hiring for a part-time and remote law clerk. LONS is an appellate criminal practice based in California that represents indigent clients in the state’s Courts of Appeal and Supreme Court. As the sole law clerk, responsibilities include but are not limited to: making typographical and substantive edits to all filings and correspondence made by the firm, drafting documents, reviewing and correcting legal citations per the California Style Manual, and maintaining front office tasks. Competitive applicants will demonstrate a clear commitment to defending those accused and convicted of the most serious criminal offenses, strong attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication.
