Free speech is a prerequisite for the free exchange of ideas, a functioning democracy, and finding the best solutions. Yet the past few weeks have seen several issues related to free speech hitting the headlines. While the Constitution provides very limited instances for regulating when, where, and how speech is delivered, regulation of the content of speech has always been off limits.
