  • Call for Proposals, UConn DEIJ Conference

    Hello!

We are excited to invite you to submit a proposal for the UConn Honors DEIJ (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Justice) Reflections & Connections Conference, which will be held on Tuesday, March 11th, 2025, from 1:00pm – 6:00pm, followed by International Night from 6-8PM at The Rome Ballroom, UConn Storrs Campus.

Hosted by the Honors DEI Student SpecialistsHonors for DiversityHonors Council, and the Honors Student Leadership Board-Stamfordthis interactive event aims to deepen our collective understanding of DEIJ issues, with a particular focus on their relevance to higher education and encourage reflection from participants.

We are currently seeking proposals for presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and tabling activities and stations that engage attendees in conversations and reflections on DEIJ. Formal presentations, panels, and workshops will be 45 minutes in length, while tabling activities and stations are a great option for those who wish to engage in conversations, share resources, or facilitate interactive activities in a more informal, casual way with participants. Topics should encourage dialogue and exploration of DEIJ topics, with a focus on how they intersect with and shape higher education.
