    SOWK 3000 - The Social Work Profession & Practice

    Do you have students considering a social justice focused career in social work, counseling/human servics, community organizing, or advocacy? Consider recommending SOWK 3000-701 (The Social Work Profession & Practice) for the Spring 2025 semester.  This course is a good fit for students interested in exploring issues of human rights and social justice, and is especially appropriate for those who may be considering careers in social work, counseling, community organizing, public policy, and other careers that focus on individual, community, and/or policy-level change.  Meets Tuesdays 4:00-6:30pm. Satisfies CA2 requirements. (Class # 7164 in Student Admin)
