Is healthcare a human right? Debate

Just as there is no shortage of viewpoints on that question, so there is no shortage of complexity in healthcare in the US. It can be mediocre, poor, good, or the best in the world, depending on wealth and circumstances. Which leads to many related political questions. Come join us on November 14 at 8 pm ET for a debate on "Resolved: Healthcare is a human right." Does the nature of human life require we treat health as a public good and guarantee healthcare for all? Should a minimal, but not all-inclusive, level of care be guaranteed?  What makes something a human right, anyway? What do you think? We invite you to share personal stories and your logical reasoning. Register here. After registration, you'll be emailed the Zoom link for the event. Questions? debates@braverangels.org
