    • Kaplan Scholarship for Seniors

      The Philip and Barbara Kaplan Scholarship was established by UConn alumni Ambassador Philip S. Kaplan and Barbara Kaplan to support a current UConn student of exceptional academic achievement with a demonstrated commitment to pursuing a career in international public service.

      Eligibility:

      1. Be a senior undergraduate who plans to graduate spring 2025 
      2. Be enrolled in the University’s Honors Program or participate in Enrichment Programs (OUR, ONS&F, University Scholar, IMJR, Pre-LAW, Pre-MED)
      3. Demonstrate exceptional academic achievement
      4. Demonstrate a commitment to pursuing a career in international public service

      Application materials include a 500-word personal essay explaining the candidate’s career objectives, an unofficial transcript, and one letter of recommendation from a faculty member.  For additional guidance, follow the link above.
