Paid Statistical Internship in Social, Statistical, & Environmental Sciences
RTI International seeks applicants for the Shelton Jones Statistical Internship within the Social, Statistical, & Environmental Sciences unit. The Internship honors the legacy of Shelton M. Jones, an RTI statistician whose career spanned over 35 years at RTI. This paid internship will take place June-August 2024. The internship requires a minimum commitment of 32 hours per week, Monday through Friday. This position is preferred to be based in RTP, NC; Chicago, or DC. Candidates must be US Citizens, currently enrolled junior or senior undergraduates or a recent graduate who will be within one-year postgraduation for the entirety of the internship placement. Candidates must have strong knowledge of statistical methods and theory and modeling and proficiency with programming languages (SAS, R) and Microsoft Office Suite.
