“Politics and Society in Central Asia” Study Abroad program
Interested in learning about democratization, economic development and post-Soviet cultural transitions? The University of Missouri offers a two-week immersive study abroad program in Kyrgyzstan on “Politics and Society in Central Asia.” Students meet with policymakers, scholars and ordinary people to discuss the political, economic and societal challenges facing Kyrgyzstan and how the government and the international community are working to address them.
The program dates are May 18-June 2, 2024. Undergraduate students earn three credits in political science or peace studies; graduate students earn three credits in public affairs.
