The University of Connecticut is proud to be accepting applications and nominations for its premiere student leadership program – Leadership Legacy Experience (LLE). This experience invites the University’s most exceptional student leaders to participate in a year-long leadership enhancement program that is immersive, comprehensive, substantive, and builds on their legacy as leaders while helping them prepare for a life of leadership, commitment, and contribution beyond graduation. The Leadership Legacy Experience will recognize the University’s most outstanding student leaders based on their academic commitment, exceptional character, contributions to the community, and overall areas of personal achievement. As a result of this experiential program, these students will graduate from the University having left behind a legacy of leadership; and the skills and experiences they have
developed in that process will be an asset to them in their future endeavors. The Leadership Legacy cohort will begin their experience in January 2024 and run through December 2024. Students must be enrolled as full-time undergraduates during the entire program. Nominations are being accepted now through October 16th, 2023. Candidates will be notified in November.
