Encourage your students to get involved and unleash their leadership potential with the Leadership Certificate Series, a program run by the Department of Student Activities – Leadership and Organizational Development. The Leadership Certificate Series encourages students to identify and explore areas of leadership. Our Fall 2023 workshops run for nine weeks and will be offered in-person from September 18 through November 16, and there are three to choose from, as well as virtual options!. Three workshops offered:
Discovery Leadership Program offers a fun and innovative experience designed to help students develop leadership competencies and begin their journey as leaders. Discovery workshops will be on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm.
Emotionally Intelligent Leadership challenges students to identify their personal strengths, identify and understand personal emotions and the emotions of others, and channel emotion into their leadership style. The Emotionally Intelligent Leadership workshops will be Wednesdays from 5:00-7:00pm.
The Student Leadership Challenge offers established student leaders the opportunity to further develop their skills and take their organization, community, or program to the next level. The Student Leadership Challenge workshops will be on Mondays from 6:00-8:00pm.
The Virtual Workshop will either be Discovery or Emotionally Intelligent Leadership depending on interest. This workshop will be held on Thursdays from 5:00-7:00pm.
