Opportunities

  • Looking for Experience in Law Enforcement?

Did you know that while the UConn Police don't currently offer internship opportunities, they do offer student employment positions? If you're eligible for student employment (not work study) check JobX every now and then for open positions! (Only at Storrs.)

You can also call the UConn Police to request a ride-a-long opportunity: 860-486-4800! (Generally offered at Storrs, but they can work with students from regional campuses to accommodate requests.)

Every fall, the UConn Police offer a Citizen's Police Academy. You can learn more by going to this link and clicking on "Citizen's Policy Academy". (Generally offered at Storrs, but they can work with students from regional campuses to accommodate requests.)

For information or requests, contact Sgt. Cheney at justin.cheney@uconn.edu.

For more information, contact: Jess Hoffmann at jessamy.hoffmann@uconn.edu
