Have you ever thought about teaching? As of July 1 there will officially be a shortage of social studies teachers, which means that those who are certified to teach that subject will be in high demand! Social studies is the umbrella under which most 7th-12th grade POLS courses are taught.
If you're admitted to a teacher prep program, you're eligible for a TEACH Grant, which awards students (who meet certain criteria) up to $4000 a year to cover college costs. Applications for Neag's Integrated Bachelors/Masters Program are due January 2024. Neag also offers a certification program for college graduates. Interested in doing a dual degree in Neag and POLS? That's a possibility too!
