Ms. Angie Waszkiewicz, Director of the CGA Legislative Internship Program, along with former CGA interns from UCONN, will provide information and answer questions relating to internship opportunities with the CT General Assembly this coming Spring.
Students from all majors are welcome to attend this information session and apply for this extraordinary internship opportunity!
Since 1969, the Legislative Internship has sought to offer college students the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge about how state government works, through direct experience in the legislative offices of the Connecticut General Assembly (CGA).
While serving within the CGA, our interns gain exclusive insight into both the formal and informal aspects of the legislative process. Paired with our academic and supplemental programming, we offer a unique opportunity for students to explore careers in public service while earning credit, practical experience, and professional connections that will last a lifetime.
Why intern in Connecticut's State Capitol?
- Become involved in the legislative process
- Earn college credit, practical experience, and connections for your future
