The following information pertains to all applicants who are planning to apply to health professional schools as part of the 2020 cycle (i.e., to begin professional school in the fall of 2020).
1. Mark your calendars for our annual spring workshop series geared toward upcoming cycle applicants! No RSVP is necessary to attend these sessions.
- 2020 Cycle Application Orientation: Thursday, February 7 / 6 pm-7:30 pm / ITE C80
- Selecting Schools to Apply to Workshop: Monday, March 4 / 3 pm-4 pm / ARJ 143
- Personal Statements Workshop: Tuesday, March 12 / 3 pm-4 pm / ARJ 143
- Secondary Applications Workshop: Wednesday, March 27 / 3 pm-4 pm / ARJ 143
All workshops will be recorded and uploaded to our website at a later date.
The 2020 Cycle Application Orientation is MANDATORY for anyone who will be requesting a composite letter of recommendation from our office. We will introduce the various health professional school centralized application services, the purpose and structure of a composite letter, and our office's procedures for obtaining one (including how to navigate our online portal). Please make every effort to attend in person, but if you absolutely cannot make it, plan to view the recording afterwards. You are responsible for the session's content regardless.
