Free Statistics Workshop Series – Fall 2021
The UConn Statistical Consulting Services presents its fall 2021 Workshop Series. The aim of this series is to introduce participants to current statistical methods and techniques, and to demonstrate the utility of the R programming language and environment.
Formats
Workshops will be presented in two formats:
- Virtual (2 hours) – Introduction to R (R and Rstudio interface,basic programming in R, using functions, manipulating data)
- In-person (2-day) – Introduction to Statistics in R (setting up data for analysis, data manipulation & wrangling, data visualization, univariate and multivariate statistical methods (including ANOVA and linear regression)

About the SCS
UConn’s Statistical Consulting Services offers free on-demand statistical consulting on issues arising from the preparation of grant proposals, the analysis of data, and interpretation of results. Online and virtual walk-in consulting is available daily with no charge. The SCS also accepts collaborative consulting projects.
