In an effort to simplify the class permission process, the University is moving to student specific permissions. Now, granting permission for a class will only require entering the student's ID number on the class permission page. This is the same page that used to house permission numbers.
The new process eliminates the need for students to remember the number, will reduce back and forth communication with faculty, and will hopefully simplify troubleshooting problems.
