This message is being sent on behalf of Fany DeJesús Hannon Ed.D., Dean of Students & Sarah Chipman, Director of Civil Rights Compliance ADA, Title VI, and Title IX Coordinator;
Dear Colleagues,
We are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all of our students, faculty, and staff. As part of that commitment, the University requires that all rising juniors complete an online interpersonal violence prevention program from Catharsis Productions.
Titled U Got This!, this video-based program provides critical information about Consent, Bystander Intervention, Sexual Assault, Dating and Domestic Violence, Stalking, and more. U Got This! is designed to both help students better understand how vitally important these issues are to creating a safe environment and express our community expectations. Please also visit for additional information about resources.
This program will be required for all undergraduate students who have earned 54 credits by the end of the semester. It will be available starting February 16, 2026. It is important to note that a registration hold for Fall 2026 courses will be in place until a student earns an 80% on the post test. On average, students completed the program in roughly 60 minutes.
We thank you in advance for your attention to this requirement for our undergraduate students. We are becoming a nationwide model for a safer campus through this program and our other University-wide efforts and resources. Thank you for being an important part of that effort.
Sincerely,
Fany & Sarah
