Effective immediately, the BUSN 2100 “Business Communications” course from CT State Community College will satisfy the School of Business critical course requirement for Communications. This is not an automatic equivalent and students must submit a substitution form to have it validated/processed. Additionally, students who have transfer credit from a “Business Communications” course taken at an AACSB accredited institution can submit the syllabi for review via the Substitution/Course Evaluation Request, and courses will be reviewed for eligibility. Requests for review must be submitted at least one term prior to submitting an application and are approved on a case-by-case basis. This information has been updated on the following School of Business websites:
All other critical courses must be reviewed by the academic department of that course. In order to fulfill one of the requirements, it must be approved and transfer as the exact required course. The School of Business will not approve substitutions for any other critical courses.
