Hello Campus Partners!
While it may be quite chilly outside, the Lodewick Visitors Center is planning for summer! We are looking for reliable students who are passionate about UConn, have strong public speaking skills, and are looking for summer employment. Our Summer Student Admissions Representative position is 30-35 hours per week (Monday-Saturday) and includes the option for on-campus housing and a meal plan for the full summer.
If you have any students in mind who might be interested and a good fit, please add their name to this nomination list by Friday, January 30 so we can reach out to them with the employment application. We will not mention who submitted their nomination. All majors and undergraduate years welcome, as long as applicants will be enrolled undergraduates for Fall 2026. Prior involvement with the Visitors Center is not necessary.
Hiring Timeline: The student employment application will open on 12Twenty beginning February 2 through February 20. Interviews will occur in early March and decisions will go by the end of Spring Break.
