Description:
This workshop, facilitated by Junta for Progressive Action in collaboration with the New Haven Immigrants Coalition, will provide critical information on legal rights of immigrants when interacting with law enforcement and ICE. Participants will learn how to assert their rights in various situations, including at home, at work, and in public spaces. The session will also cover steps to take if detained, the importance of a Family Preparedness Plan, and available community resources for legal support. This workshop aims to empower individuals with the knowledge needed to protect themselves and their communities.
