Students in all majors and at all stages of their academic careers can apply for up to $500 in OUR Supply Award funding to support their research or creative projects. This award is intended to support expenses that are specific to a student’s optional project (independent study, thesis, etc.) and consumed through use in the project. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and will close on Monday, March 3, 2025 or when all Supply Award funding has been exhausted.
Students who have the opportunity to present their research or creative project at a national or regional conference or professional meeting are encouraged to seek presentation support via OUR Conference Presentation Awards. Students may use these awards to cover expenses associated with presenting their research or creative projects at conferences or professional meetings. Awards may pay for conference registration, including registration for virtual conferences, and for travel expenses (meals, travel, parking, and lodging) where permitted by University policy.
Applications are also being accepted for OUR Research Travel Awards. Research Travel awards support students who must travel away from campus to execute their research projects (e.g., to consult materials in an archive). Awards may pay for travel expenses (meals, parking, lodging) where permitted by University policy.
Applications for both OUR Conference Presentation Awards and OUR Research Travel Awards are reviewed on a rolling basis until the award deadline or until funds are exhausted. The online application for both of these awards will close on April 1, 2025.
