  • How to Approve Honors Plans Due from Juniors

After a student completes and submits their Honors Plan in Quest due 11/1,  they are asked to add their Honors advisor as a Collaborator to their Honors Plan.  If students add the advisor as a collaborator before they submit their Honors Plan, the advisor will not be able to see the plan until after the student submits it.

Here are the steps for Advisors to follow to locate and view Honors Plans.  These steps must be followed in order for an Advisor to see a student’s plan:

    1. First, locate the invitation to collaborate email for the student you would like to review but do not click anything in the email.  It may have gone to a spam/junk folder from “noreply@mail.smapply.net.
    2. Then, go to quest.uconn.edu and log in with UConn single sign-on and select the role of “Applicant
    3. Next, open the email Request to Collaborate and click on the “Join Now” button within the email.  You should now be able to see the student's plan in Quest.

    Troubleshooting:

If the steps above are followed in order and you cannot see the student's plan, they may not have submitted it yet.

If they have submitted and you haven't received the Request to Collaborate email, check your spam folder and/or ask the student to remove you as a Collaborator and then add you again to trigger a new Request to Collaborate email.
