    PSYC 3503 – Computer Modeling of Cognitive Processes

    Time: Tuesday/Thursday, 12:30pm – 1:45pm

    Description:

    Symbolic and connectionist approaches to modeling vision, problem solving, planning, deduction, language understanding, learning and memory.

     

    Class Notes:

    • This course involves an introductory computer programming component for which training is provided.
    • Permission of instructor is required, as well as the pre-reqs of PYSC 2501 or 3501.
    • If you do not  have the pre-req, but have sufficient background in Psych/Linguistics/ Computer Science/ Math / Engineering or a related discipline, you can request a permission number by emailing whitney.tabor@uconn.edu
