The annual UConn Law School Fair has partnered with the Center for Career Development's Graduate School Fair to offer a combination virtual event on Thursday, October 15 from 2:00-5:00pm. Over 50 national law schools are expected to participate in one-on-one and group meeting sessions with registered students. We encourage students who are interested in applying to law schools to complete their Handshake profiles if not already done, then sign up in advance for these sessions, which will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Also being offered this year separately on the WebEx platform from 12:30 to 1:30pm just prior to the event start time, is a panel discussion featuring representatives from the Admissions Offices at UConn Law, Georgetown Law, University of Maine Law and American University Washington College of Law. In addition to general information about law school application processes and decisions, they will discuss the unique problems facing those applicants who are applying to law school in the midst of a pandemic. Interested students may send an email to prelaw@uconn.edu for more information if they plan to attend the panel discussion.
To access the online event to preview participating law schools and to sign up for sessions, students should visit the following website: https://app.joinhandshake.com/career_fairs/18280/student_preview (Students should check back frequently as schools and meeting times continue to be added).
