    Campaign Strategy and Communications

    Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014
    6-8:30 p.m. (ITE 127)

    J. Toscano is partner at GMMB, a leading Democratic consulting firm. Toscano is known for developing sharp message strategy and advertising that tiptoes outside traditional bounds to emotionally engage increasingly cynical audiences. He's helped elect U.S. Senators, representatives and governors, and works with leading independent expenditure efforts on behalf of progressive causes and candidates. One of his most widely viewed ads featured President Obama and Republican Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey reaching out to victims of Hurricane Sandy. Sponsored by the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research. Note: This event is occurring twice; you may only attend and count one as an Honors Event.
