The UConn Weight Management Research Group near the UConn Hartford Campus is seeking research assistants to help with all aspects of a research study focused on testing behavioral and cognitive interventions for the treatment of obesity in adults. Students involved in this NIH-funded clinical trial will gain exposure to clinical research and interact with study participants within the context of screening, assessments, and treatment delivery. This research experience may be particularly relevant to students interested in graduate school in the area of psychology or other health-related fields. Students must be able to travel to Hartford and be available for evening hours as needed. If desired, research assistants can earn research credit in either the Department of Allied Health Sciences or Psychological Sciences.
