Important

  • Updated UHL Leadership Experience

To remove the barriers that may have prevented students from engaging in theLeadership Experience and make it more accessible to our entire community, we have revamped this component of the University Honors Laureate award. The entire process is more streamlined and includes more options for students to develop their leadership skills.

Moving forward, the two required steps to fulfill the Leadership Experience are:

    • Leadership Reflection completion and approval

    • Reflection coaching session with an Honors GPS

    Some important changes

    • Retroactive experiences may now be used to complete the Leadership Experience, as long as they occurred after you began as a student at UConn.

    • Your Leadership Experience is no longer required to be a “project. We know that leadership occurs in many spaces and scenarios, so we have broadened the definition of a Leadership Experience. You can see more about this in HuskyCT
