If you are considering a summer course, please take a look at the following opportunities in Sociology. Although these are not Honors courses, Professor Wright is happy to discuss an Honors conversion for Social Well-Being with interested students.
1. Social Well-Being (Soci 2275). This class is one of the most popular electives on campus. In it, students learn how to maximize their own sense of well-being and how society impacts it. During summer, it's offered as an online asynchronous class. Summer Session II.
2. Sociology Internship Program (Soci 3990/3991). This program has students apply sociological thinking to analyze their workplace. It's suitable for summer jobs, internships, and volunteering. Students can take it for up to 6 credits. Available online all summer (though officially listed as Summer Session II).
