We have important information about Honors housing at both the Storrs and Stamford campuses next year. Please read below and visit this webpage. The housing application closes on February 11th. Applying for Honors housing requires a couple extra steps explained on this webpage.
UConn Storrs – Honors to Opportunities (H2O) Sophomore Learning Community:
One of our most popular options for sophomore housing is H2O, a learning community on the 5th floor of Werth Residence Tower where peers, Resident Assistants, and Floor Mentors help to build a cohesive sophomore Honors community devoted to university exploration and community engagement. Learn more about H2O and the supplementary application process.
UConn Storrs – Other Honors Housing Options:
The sense of community that comes with living in an Honors community doesn't have to stop after your first or second year. The Honors communities in Snow and McMahon are open to Honors students in their 2nd year or beyond. Read more about these options.
UConn Stamford:
There may be an opportunity to continue to live on the 2nd floor of 900 Washington, in the Honors Residential Community, to continue to build community and form connections with Honors peers living on campus. First, apply to live in UConn Stamford housing. If you are then guaranteed housing, you will be asked about your interest in living in the Honors Residential Community. How to apply.
Campus Changing?
Honors students who are campus changing to the UConn Storrs or UConn Stamford campus will be able to apply to live in an upper-division Honors community on that campus. Follow the "Returning Students" instructions for your destination campus. The housing application deadline for campus changing students is March 4, except for H2O. If you are applying for the H2O Learning Community at UConn Storrs, you must apply by the returning student deadline of February 11.
Remember: the housing application closes on February 11th.
