Are you a sophomore with a 3.0+ GPA majoring in an area related to oceanic and atmospheric science, research, technology, or education?
Current sophomores with interests in the ocean and our environment--majoring in areas such as the biological, physical, or social sciences; computer science; math; engineering; or teacher education--are encouraged to attend this info session to learn about the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Ernest F. Hollings scholarship program.
The scholarship provides 1) a total of $19,000 in scholarships for your junior and senior years, 2) a paid summer internship (with housing allowance) at a NOAA facility anywhere in the US, 3) fully-paid attendance two NOAA Hollings conferences in Silver Spring, MD (at NOAA headquarters), and 4) support to present the results of your Internship research at two professional scientific meetings.
