Each UNIV 1784 section is co-taught by upper-division Honors facilitators, typically sophomores. During the prior spring semester, prospective facilitators enroll in EGEN 3200 (3 credits, Honors) to learn about facilitation, peer mentorship, and student development. In the fall semester, facilitators enroll in EGEN 3092 (3 credits, Honors) for support during their UNIV 1784 facilitation experience.
Complete this application to be considered for placement in EGEN 3200. Applications will be reviewed over winter break, and GPA and conduct checks will be completed for all applicants. Eligibility is contingent on completion of UNIV 1784 prior to the beginning of spring semester.
Applications are due by 11:59 PM on Sunday, December 7.
Students who are selected will be notified in January and provided permission to enroll in a section of EGEN 3200.
