Important

  • New Required Modules for ALL Pre-Law Students

We’re excited to continue supporting you on your path as a future legal professional. We want to let you know about an important new requirement for both new and returning students in the Pre-Professional Advising Office.

Required: Foundations for Future Legal Professionals Modules

*All students — including those returning — must complete the Foundations for Future Legal Professionals Modules on HuskyCT. These modules provide tools, insights, and resources to help you stay on track with your goals.*

    • CLICK HERE or log into HuskyCT and scroll down to the “Self-Enroll Courses and Organizations for Students” section to self-enroll in the Foundations for Future Legal Professionals: Required Pre-Law Modules to get started.
    • If you’re a new student or just want a refresher, we highly recommend completing the modules in full to make sure you’re confident in pre-law requirements and prepared to take the steps needed to be a competitive applicant.
      • Please note that most new/incoming students (first-year and transfer) were automtically enrolled in the course. If you do not see it, please use the link or instructions above to enroll.

Good news: If you already feel confident with the material, you are welcome to fast-forward through videos and move directly to the knowledge checks. Once you complete the modules, you’ll gain:

    • Exclusive access to our new appointment scheduling link
    • Access to additional helpful resources
    • A badge in Nexus showing completion of this requirement

UConn Alumni: Please email prelaw@uconn.edu to receive a link to book an appointment when needed.

    Scheduling and Advising Availability

Please note that during the add/drop period, no appointments will be available. Instead, we will offer drop-in advising for quick (5–10 minute) questions. Drop-in hours and links can be found on our website: https://prelaw.uconn.edu/drop-in-hours/

We appreciate your partnership in completing these requirements, as they ensure that all students have the resources and preparation needed to succeed.

If you have any questions about the Foundations Modules or upcoming requirements, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
