With the start of a new semester comes busy schedules filled with classes, work, extra curriculars, time with friends, and more. Self care remains of the utmost important during the stressful winter season. Mindfulness is the practice of taking time to step away from the business of the every day, and focus on living in the moment. As a mechanism that has helped common stress, mental disorders, and daily self care, mindfulness is becoming more and more popular among the health community.
