ScribeAmerica is offering medical scribe roles to UConn students on the Pre-Medicine and Pre-Health tracks. We currently provide scribe services to several UConn Health outpatient facilities with varying specialties in the Hartford region. The shift hours include Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM and students should be available to work 2 days/week.
Scribe servies are primarily in: Farmington, Glastonbury, Hartford, and Southington; occasionally in Avon, Canton, and Plainville.
This is a perfect opportunity for Pre-Health track students to gain valuable experiences within the field - furthering their knowledge of medical terminology, learening how to document within the patients' charts, understanding the process of patient visits from check in to discharge, and creating great interprofessional relationships with the providers and staff.
