Eunices Pineda will hold a tabling event at Waterbury to promote the Connecticut ¡Adelante! program on:
Thursday, November 9th 12PM-2PM Lobby
My name is Eunices Pineda, and I am the Educational Program Assistant for Connecticut ¡Adelante! at UConn School of Social Work. Connecticut ¡Adelante! is a new MSW program option designed to enhance the language proficiency of Spanish-English bilingual social work students pursuing a concentration in Individuals, Groups, and Families. The program aims to address Connecticut's increased workforce needs by preparing MSW Spanish-speaking social work students to meet the mental health needs of children and their families. Students who are accepted can receive up to $2,500 per semester in a stipend during the two years they complete their field placements.
As part of our recruitment plan, we aim to collaborate with other units/departments within UConn to recruit students who may be good candidates for the CT Adelante program. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss potential collaboration further. Please let me know your availability so we can connect and discuss CT ¡Adelante! Thank you so much for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.
Best,
